Hey everyone, I recently got a pair of ZMF Auteur headphones, and I was kind of lucky with timing as I was able to get the new Cocobolo LTD edition.
I've recorded a video with some of my opinions / impressions, and in that video I compare them to Audeze LCD-2F and MrSpeakers Ether Flow headphones too.
Summary of what you'll find on this video:
The Auteur is my favorite headphone. They are unique, beautiful and sound spectacular.
They are not better at low-end extension than LCD-2s, they are not as speedy or practical as the Ether Flows and in general they are not my favorite because they do *something* particularly better than all the other headphones I've tested.
What they do, is create a cohesive, natural sound representation that feels spacious, yet detailed. Lively, yet neutral. If I close my eyes when listening to them, they get me the closest to feeling like the sounds I'm hearing are being produced in the room here with me, and not on big speakers 1-inch away from my ears.

1985 Kawasaki 454 LTD - Very difficult to get started [Video]

So you guys helped me a lot on a previous question. I've got another issue with this bike. It's very difficult to get started.
Here is what it's like to start this bike cold. The battery sounds weak. I feel guilty about using the starter that much. Sometimes I try to give it some gas and other times I worry I've flooded the carburetor and don't give it any gas. I replaced the battery on it and that doesn't seem to have fixed anything. Once it's running though it will run forever so idk if that means the alternator is definitely good. Could it be the starter? I am going to change the oil to a 5W-30 as recommended on the 454 forums so maybe the lighter weight oil will make it easier to start? But the temperature in that video was 60 degrees.

You mention gas draining out of the the bottom of the carb. Having had an LTD as my first ever motorcycle and learning tons (though that carb is practically the same on tons of bikes) that is most definitely not your excess fuel drain. That is your primary bowl drain for when you need to remove the gas from the carb to take it off and service it. When the carb is on the bike that drain should not be leaking gas under any circumstances. There may be a chance that when you let the bike sit, fuel is slowly leaking out of that (or both) carbs and the bowls are dry when you try to start it, which is why it takes time. Once you pump gas into enough times trying to start it, the bowls may fill up enough for the engine to fire later.
That's my thought, but I'm pretty amateur. Really, unless your floats are sticking, there shouldn't be "excess" fuel leaking from anywhere on the carbs. If those floats go up and close off the incoming fuel line to the bowls, then the fuel level won't rise in the carbs any more.
I know these videos aren't great for quality and understanding, but that second video doesn't sound very good. Are you running on one cylinder? I hope the video quality is what makes it sound that way.

Kirkland Tennessee Bourbon Video

Anyone else see this Kirkland Video on Facebook? I know the prevailing thought is that the Kirkland bourbon now comes from Dickel, but I was surprised to see this video with a distiller from Tennessee Distilling Ltd. implying they have their own distillery that produces bourbon/whiskey for Kirkland. Their website was quite... lacking in any details apart from the location of Columbia, TN. Anyone familiar with the visuals of the distillery in the video? I do not think that Dickel is in Columbia, and I can’t find any other information on Tennessee Distilling. They do seem to be an actual distillery, though. Perhaps they are just a newer contract distillery like MGP, but based out of Columbia, TN?
Top Comment: I drive past the facility every day to work. It’s impressive. 8 or so buildings, I think with more going up. But yeah not Dickel. Unless they are making Dickel for Dickel under the wraps. I am pretty sure they are the Tennessee version of MGP. Uncle Nearest comes out of there. Probably more but that’s the only other one I know of for sure.
